Russian artist Oleg Duryagin (aka Dou) recently won the Professional Photographer of the Year in Fine Art award at the International Photography Awards. His latest photoseries, Toystory, captures little children as toys. The children are so white and lifeless, they look like marble-skinned vampire children.
These wonderfully whimsical photographs by Katerina Plotnikova derive a lot of their inspiration from classic fairy tales, which reference iconic characters and their journey through worlds filled with adventure and mysticism.
Fred Levy - Pet Photographer The Black Dogs Project "This photo series started after a conversation about how black dogs have a harder time getting adopted than other dogs. I decided to start a photo series photographing black dogs on a black background in my studio. Using social media, I recruited local dog owners who have black dogs to photograph. It's an amazing journey that will become a book in the fall of 2015."
Amanda Charchian and Claire Oring collaborate in this bone-chilling image series. Each photograph contains a single word that, when viewed in sequential order, reads a profound message. The message is: "I imagine yes is the only living thing."
